busy, busy, busy
I really don't have much time to post because it's late... but just wanted everyone to know that our offer got accepted on a condo! *whoo hoo*! More details tomorrow!

My birthday experience
Well... Where shall I start? On Friday (April 23) Mark's friends, my friends, Mark, and I went on a little trip to Dave and Buster's. We had sooooo much fun! It's been a while since I had a chance to go out with friends and parrrrrtay! Don't worry Jacob was safe @ home, spending the night with my parents. I posted a few pictures here (well, not yet... something is wrong with textamerica--check back soon).

The day of my birthday (yesterday), my alarm went off at 5:00 AM and a few snooze buttons later I woke up and got ready to be out the house by 6:30 AM. I arrived at school at approximately 8:00 AM and went to the computer lab just to chill before class started at 8:30. Went to class, learned a few tips about owning/starting my own business for three hours then I was off to spend my lunch time going to the bank. (It's one of those banks that you don't see everywhere). I was sort of surprised it didn't take me that long to walk there----Now think in terms of "city" blocks, my school is on Stockton and Ellis (Very close to Fourth street downtown SF and the bank is on Second street). Anyways, after the bank I debated about spending the remainder of my lunch time at my Grandma's house since it was so close to where I was.... I decided against it afterall. I tried calling, but nobody answered--plus it was SUPER hot today and I didn't want to walk the rest of the way. I just decided to go back to school and spent the rest of my lunch time in the computer lab doing nothing. My next class started at 12. I sat in that class for 3 hours and tried to learn ( more like tried to stay awake to learn) about textiles. Then I went to my next class, which was more interesting than usual--my Applied Management class. During break, a classmate and I went to Macy'sto get something to eat because we both were SUPER hungry. Come to find out Ben & Jerry's were giving out FREE ice cream, but the line was longer than our break would allow so we decided against it. =( Then after sitting through that class for 2 and 1/2 hours (she let us out early), I headed home. The BART was delayed. My classmate and I decided to shop will we waited for the BART to start running. We shopped--well, I did more window shopping than anything else--around the SF shopping center. An hour later we went back to BART and it was running again. Arrived in El Cerrito and drove to my dad's house. I ate. I drove my grandma to the BART station and went back to my dad's house and went home to my house. The end.

What a day huh? I think as you get older birthday's get more and more....normal. I had SUPER fun at D&B, though. Let's do it again! =)

I complain too much!
I really don't want to go through this today! Uggghhh... Why can't i LOVE school?

I don't remember where I got that from... I'm thinking it's from some kind of movie. Anyways, I know that I haven't posted so just to update you on things. I've been back at school. School sucks. Many a times I've thought to myself and expressed to others how I don't understand why we have to go to school. Sure, I understand that if you go to school you are "worth" more because you will have a more knowledge going into a job after college...but I don't understand why we have to go through sooooo much of it. Okay, okay, I'll quit complaining. Umm.. other than that I've been working. So really, if you think about it nothing new has been going on. LOL.

Enough about that... I'm excited for Friday *whoohoo*. I've invited a few friends to join me in celebrating my birthday. Although Friday isn't my real birthday, I decided to celebrate my birthday this Friday (and maybe through Saturday) because I was able to get the weekend off and my real birthday is on Tuesday. *Sigh* I can't wait!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while... just been so busy! I'm also trying to work on a new template so until then...

Finding a Home Sweet Home
On Wednesday Mark, Jacob, and I met with our realtor for the first time and viewed a few Condos. There were some things we liked about one place and didn't like about others. It's definitely hard to find a place you totally love. But we're praying and hoping for a place we can totally see ourselves live in. We might find a new realtor though... Mark thinks that he's pressuring us for the close of the sale.

I've definitely been a good girl! I haven't been shopping and I am definitely keeping my eye on the prize.... Our new place!

Jacob has been sick lately. Pink eye, fever, allergies... it's hard when he's sick!

Material Girl
I've been feeling yucky lately. Mark has been helping me realize how materialistic and selfish I've been. All the money I've spent.... I could have saved towards "our cause" (buying a townhouse or small house). I sort of get all caught up in the hype of trying to be "different" and unique in the way I dress and what accessories I have, especially attending a fashion school. I know that I don't really need new clothes or accessories every week, but I can be creative with what I have. I've been really good lately, haven't been shopping (I mean MAD shopping) since... last month! Heheh... I know it hasn't been that long... but that's really good for me.
